My name is Malcolm Parnell and I live in Leicestershire. I paint mainly in oils, although occasionally I enjoy the challenge and the sublety of watercolour.

 

I draw my inspiration from the many and varied landscapes we have on our doorsteps.  For me painting is about capturing mood and atmosphere rather than an exact copy of the image.  

 

Also on this site you will find images of original and much sought after silk flower arrangements, designed and made by my wife Marion. These arrangements can be purchased through the website, or if you wish, commissions can be taken using a colour scheme or favourite flower selection of your choice.
